Nick Ellman is a Chicago born, New Orleans groomed, Los Angeles based musician.

Primarily a saxophonist and clarinetist, Nick has enjoyed a varied career performing and/or recording with artists such as Maroon 5, Haim, PJ Morton, Anderson Paak, Gwen Stefani, Naughty Professor, Jamie Cullum, Big Freedia, Lizzo, Lil' Wayne, Lauren Daigle, Trombone Shorty, GRiZ, Snoop Dogg, Bootsy Collins, Mavis Staples, Don Was, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Taj Mahal, Jeff Tweedy, Black Pumas, Nathaniel Rateliff, Chris Stapleton, Grace Potter, Hozier, Michael McDonald, Jackson Browne, Keb Mo', The War and Treaty, Bobby Kimball (of Toto), Sturgill Simpson, Rickie Lee Jones, Chali 2na (of Jurassic 5), Paul Meany, Dumpstaphunk, The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Galactic, Walter ‘Wolfman’ Washington, The Revivalists, Alex Ebert (of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros), the Afghan Wigs, David Duchovny, Tank and The Bangas, Tauk, Ryan Montbleau, Eric Lindell, Father John Misty and many more.

After earning a Bachelor of Music, Jazz Studies degree from Loyola University New Orleans in 2013, Nick has toured festivals and venues across the United States and around the globe including Canada, China, the Caribbean Sea, Europe and the United Kingdom.

As a founding member of the critically acclaimed music collective Naughty Professor, Nick has co-produced, written and recorded on seven albums of original material.
